The Bennett Landing Retaining Walls and Water Barriers In order to create clean elevations, grade the property right, and maintain structural integrity of the property, over 2000 feet of retaining walls were installed at Bennett Landing. Seen here a red fox coming out from the protected wetlands and using his new favorite highway, the Bennett Landing retaining wall.
Shown above, interlocked rip-rap seawall boulders are cemented together to create a seawall that not only preserves the integrity of the bluff, but also absorbs the waves and tides in such a way that the sandy beach below (depending on the wind-blown tide) is protected.
